OATLY - Welcome to America
I worked with the Swedish oat milk (yes, milk made of oats) brand Oatly to launch their products in the US. Messaging focuses on the balance of sustainability, nutrition, and taste. I worked on launching the US website, social media content, Oatly apparel, an Oatly car, and more.


Barista Edition US Launch Campaign:
We created these simple illogical murals and billboards to speak directly to baristas to let them know we are now available. Then we shot these photos of the billboards to post on social media to really get our money’s worth. Art Direction and styling.

We created a simple slideshow for the homepage to introduce the brand to the US market. On the site, you can purchase oat milk and learn about the company. Design

Chilled Oatmilk Retail Launch:
We created this mini-campaign on social media to tell everyone our chilled oatmilks are available in retail all across the US. We also used this lifestyle photography on the Oatly website and shared these images and animations with our retail partners (Whole foods, Wegmans, etc.) for them to use on their social media accounts a digital advertising. This shoot had a $0 budget. Art direction, styling, design

Coffee Shop Accessories and Collateral:
We created a ton of materials to give our coffee shop partners to ensure their customers knew they could order oat milk in their drinks, including wooden signs, magnets, enamel pins, and bookmarks.

Social Ads
We created a lot of targeted social media ads to highlight our presence in specific markets and regions. I created this illustration of Kayla, one of our sales representatives in LA who helps get Oatly into more coffee shops and retail stores. Hopefully some LA baristas and coffee shop owners saw these.

Event Branding
I created branding around ‘Fika Talks.’ Fika is an important concept within Swedish culture. It means making time for friends and colleagues to share a cup of coffee and a little something to eat. We put together a panel of experts in the sustainable food space and served some coffee and snacks at a local partner’s coffee shop. These events were a great way to get in touch with local communities in different parts of the country and get to know our partners better. We used this art on social media to promote the event, and on posters and small cards at the host’s shop.
